Privacy Policy

We process personal data under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data.

1. Orders and purchase contracts – name, billing and delivery address, e-mail, phone; for company purchases also company name, company ID, tax ID and VAT ID; order content, the selected Packeta pick-up point and payment data. Purpose: concluding and performing the contract, delivery, communication about the order, complaints and withdrawals. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Accounting and tax records (invoices, transport documents) are kept for 10 years (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR, Slovak Accounting Act No. 431/2002 Coll., VAT Act No. 222/2004 Coll.); other order data until the limitation periods for contractual claims expire (generally 4 years from delivery).

2. Company purchases and VAT exemption – if you enter a VAT ID for a company purchase, we verify it in the European Commission's VIES system (result, date and consultation number are stored with the order). If you request a VAT-exempt supply to the Czech Republic, we also keep a record of the review of the order and the transport documents (e.g. parcel number, proof of delivery). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (correct application of VAT under the VAT Act) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in fraud prevention). Retention: 10 years as part of the tax records.

3. Customer account – if you create an account: login data (passwords are stored only in encrypted form), addresses and order history. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. You can close the account at any time; data are then kept only as described in points 1 and 2.

4. Contact form, e-mail and phone – your name, contact details and message. Purpose: answering your question, preparing an offer (e.g. a transport quote). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract) or (f) (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). Kept for up to 3 years after the last communication if no contract is concluded.

5. Cookies and analytics – strictly necessary cookies (cart, login, security, language, storing your cookie choice) are used without consent. Analytics and marketing tools (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads) run only with your consent given in the cookie banner; you can withdraw consent at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer. 6. Packeta pick-up point map – when you choose a pick-up point, the checkout loads a map from Packeta's servers; Packeta processes your IP address and technical browser data. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (choice of delivery method).

7. Recipients – Websupport, s.r.o. (web and e-mail hosting); Packeta Slovakia s.r.o. and its partners in the Czech Republic (delivery to a pick-up point, Z-BOX or address – name, phone, e-mail, address, pick-up point); TOPTRANS EU, a.s. (pallet transport – name, address, phone, e-mail); Československá obchodná banka, a.s. (receipt of payments); our accounting service provider (accounting and tax records); the European Commission – VIES (VAT-ID check); Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC (only after consent); public authorities (e.g. the tax administration) where required by law.

8. Transfers outside the EU – Google LLC (USA) may process data in the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision and standard contractual clauses. We make no other transfers outside the EU.

9. Automated decision-making – we do not make decisions based solely on automated processing or profiling with legal effects. The VIES result is only an input; a member of our staff always decides on any VAT exemption.

10. Your rights – access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection to processing based on legitimate interest, withdrawal of consent at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing). Send requests to info@monorlaser.com. You may lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27, www.dataprotection.gov.sk.
